Congratulations to Lois Van Vleet for winning the National Tour Rally of the Year Award for her Northern Lights Rally.

New Volunteer Incentive Programs were announced. The important part for us is that non-member volunteers at the Jack Pine Sprints will get a free weekend membership. If these volunteers work both the Jack Pine Sprints and the Labor Day Weekend Trans-Am Race, they will be eligible to buy a full SCCA membership for as little as $30. Details to be published in an upcoming issue of the Tonneau.

We heard from many folks at the National Convention that they are excited to attend and participate in Land o' Lakes Region's return of SCCA Club Racing to Brainerd Internation Raceway. We spoke with stewards, F&C volunteers, scrutineers, National and Divisional administrators and members of the Board of Directors, as well as drivers, all of whom are anticipating a great return of LOL as a Club Race sanctioning region. We also made a lot of important contacts to help us grow as a region.

LOL members attending the convention were Brent and Carrie Carlson, John Emmons, Kathy Gillen, Ann Hefty, Mark and Mary Utecht and Lois Van Vleet.

Please be sure that your information is up to date with the SCCA National Office. Also, watch this web page and our forums for further details.
